Dr. Greg Schaible

PT, DPT, CSCS

Physical Therapist, Strength Coach, Owner

I grew up in Ann Arbor, MI, and went to The University of Findlay where I earned my Doctorate of Physical. While attending the University of Findlay, I competed as an athlete in both Indoor and Outdoor Track & Field, earning honors as a 5x Division II All-American and a 6x Division II Academic All-American.

As a Doctor of Physical Therapy, Strength Coach, and a former Collegiate Athlete, I bring a unique perspective to my treatment approach. This gives me the ability to combine aspects of rehabilitation and sports performance/fitness when formulating a treatment plan. In addition to treating clients, I also teach my unique treatment methods to other PTs, ATCs, and Strength Coaches in both the public sector as well as collegiate and professional sports through my educational company, Sports Rehab Expert.

In sports and in life, your best ability is availability. I know what it’s like to feel injury prone, it’s frustrating and defeating when you can’t help your team win. It’s why we focus on durability first, then performance at our facility. But also in life, I want to be available to travel, hike, play sports with my kids, live an active lifestyle and set a good example. I want all of this for my patients as well!

“We fall so we can learn to pick ourselves back up”. – Batman

At On Track, we strive to develop the best rehab and strength coaches that Ann Arbor, MI has to offer. In my time as a physical therapist, I have noticed conditions like knee pain, Achilles pain, and other forms of injury can keep someone on the sidelines or prevent them from playing sports personally or with their kids! I enjoy helping my patients work through these and other issues until they are ready to get back in the game. One thing I enjoy doing at On Track is getting to resolve stubborn injuries even when no other provider knows how to handle their problem!

When I’m not at work, I enjoy spending time with family and friends, weekends up north/traveling, playing basketball, and trying to maintain as much of the track speed I had in college, haha. I am an avid Lions, Pistons, and most importantly a Michigan Wolverines fan!

Patient Testimonials

“I cannot recommend Greg enough! I came to him in crisis after developing an injury one month before my marathon, but he was able to work with me to safely get me back on the starting line for my race. As a runner, I am no stranger to injury and have seen a handful of PTs in my life, but I can confidently say that Greg’s knowledge, training, and skills are the best I’ve worked with! I now consider dry needling to be a crucial part of my running recovery.”

Greg is remarkable. I am not an athlete but an active older woman. I had a very painful injury and Greg was able to get me back in shape. Unlike traditional physical therapy Greg himself treats you for your entire visit. He walks you through an exercise program and gives you instructions to follow at home. In my case he followed up with a dry needling and massage of the injured area which was very helpful. You never feel rushed. He listens to your concerns about your initial injury and any other ache or pain you might have. He’s very professional but also fun to chat with during your session. I look forward to my visits and will definitely call him again for treatment.

“Greg is extremely knowledgeable and understands how to work with strength athletes. He doesn’t use any gimmicky techniques or do anything that isn’t efficient or useful. I’d highly recommend him to anyone that needs a PT that understands athletes and strength sports.”
