Feature: Sarah Renberg – Strength Coach
Sarah is a NASM certified personal trainer. She graduated from the University of Michigan with a degree in Biopsychology, Cognition, and Neuroscience in 2022. Prior to working at On Track, Sarah was a Wellness Coach through University Health Services where she was trained in Motivational Interviewing and promoted student well-being through health education and peer-counseling. She also brings past experience working as a clinical assistant in neurorehabilitation.
Sarah’s passion for fitness and rehabilitation stem from growing up a competitive, multi-sport athlete who sustained career-ending injuries while playing in the Junior Women’s Ice Hockey League. Sarah’s experience rebuilding strength and athleticism throughout a lengthy, non-linear rehabilitation process combined with her background in neuroscience informs her approach to thoughtful, evidence-based and fun programming.
When not in the gym, running on the B2B, or waiting with her fingers crossed to hear back from the medical schools she applied to, Sarah can be found coaching youth hockey or cooking with her latest Farmer’s Market haul.
